1999 Coast to Coast

The first event, held December 28th. Started in the dark, and was turning dark when we finished! The weather was rough as well- had everything from sun to rain and snow (as we were traveling down, the local weather forecast on support driver Ian Moon's car was for road closures across Dartmoor due to the level of snow!). The route was from Ilfracombe pier to Plymouth Ho- approx 75 miles.

Four plucky riders- organizer Simon Paddon, Simon Howlett, Bob Penny and Lee James. We raised £1250 for the North Devon Children's Hospice.
