2011 Teams

 

An increasing factor for the event is the number of great teams we have riding-

for all sorts of reasons.

Team Braunton Blokes

Team CERI

Although not riding this year, Team CERI are part of the ride's history.

In 2006 Dee decided he would have a change of life plan to loose weight and get fit so he started to eat healthy and exercise by cycling. He soon persuaded a reluctant Tina to join him and much to her horror bought her a racing bike. From the very first time she rode it she loved it although finding it hard she persevered.

Dee had already completed one C2C ride and they decided to do the next one together as Team CERI.

Team CERI came about as a bit of fun and to honour their grandchildren. The CERI part represents the initial of each of their grandchildren's first names in order of their births.
C = Chantelle E = Emily R = Ryan I = Isabelle.

Unfortunately in 2008 Dee suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage and has been left with lots of medical and neurological problems hence he is no longer able to cycle the C2C but is an avid supporter of such a good cause. Life has taken on a much slower pace and they make every day count.
