-Get at the front at the start!
Hello! With less than 2 months to go, the sun is trying to shine, and life is good. Hope your training is going well!
Firstly, an apology.
There are several messages which we need to get out there to all the riders- past and present. To ensure that we do, we have sent this email not only to those who have signed up for the newsletter, but also those who has registered for this years ride. However, this may lead to some duplication.
So if you have had this more than once, or received it and never requested it, please accept our apologies. If it matters, please email me, and I will try my best to make sure that it never happens again.
Oh, and for reassurance, your email's and details are kept in the strictest confidence. You will never receive SPAM as a result of being on our newsletter.
OK- thank you- read on!
-What happens next?
I have had several emails asking me what happens next, so I want to take a moment to explain the procedures.
After you have signed up (via ebay- your pay-pal details will be sent to me and used for registering on the website), the next step is for you to download the sponsorship, and get raising funds for The North Devon Hospice. Remember, there is the commitment to raise at least £50 for the charity.
Mid May will see the release of The Rider pack- this will be available to download from the website, and will contain all the details you will need for the day.
Next- the ride!
Apologies for any confusion from the ebay page. We had originally planned to send out a registration form following sign up on ebay; however, we quickly found that the information which comes through, along with your telephone number, team and where you first heard about the ride, gives us enough to register.
Hope this all makes sense.
-Coach Home
The much anticipated details of the coach home have been released! Head over to the website and download a form for you to complete- then send the details to Sean. Places are limited, and are filling up fast, so do hurry!
-Get at the front at the start!
As revealed on the site- there is a simple way to get a head start and be at the front when we cycle away from Woolacombe- WEAR YOUR COAST TO COAST TOP! Not only will this provide a great photo opportunity for you and the ride, it will enable you to gain a front place for the climb out of Woolacombe and onwards.
If you have not got a top yet, there are some still available- contact Mark at markhenderson12@hotmail.com for further details.
In the coming weeks as the ride gets closer, it is important that you keep your eyes on the website home page on a regular basis, to keep up to date with all the news and details of the ride. And as always, if you have any questions about the ride, please feel free to email me.
