Well, it is nearly a month since the ride already! We hope that you all have some great memories from the ride, and are planning your approach to next year's ride.

-Funds Update

Funds are flying in to the North Devon Hospice, and the great news is, we are nearly up to the 2008 figure already! How cool is that!

But there's still a lot more to come in- indeed, so far, only approx. one third of the riders have sent their money in- so potential of a MASSIVE figure raised for the Hospice.

Just a reminder, if you have yet to send your money in, please collect it as soon as possible (make sense to do it before all the Summer vacations kick off), and send it to our little Hospice Smurf Emma at-

Let's not forget that this is a fund raising ride; unfortunately, there were some riders who did not send their funds in last year. We are monitoring the situation, and if these same people do not send their funds in this year, then two strikes and their out- and they will be denied entry for the 2010 event. We hope that you also feel that this makes sense.

 

-Pictures Requests

We have a great gallery of pictures already on the site- go to http://www.coast-coast.co.uk/2009%20Summary.html . But we want more! Especially any more pictures or videos of the afternoon stop at Exeter Quay- when we were setting off. One of my main memories of the day is cycling away, and looking back- and seeing the whole quay being taking up by Devon Coast to Coast Challenge riders!

-Jerseys Competition

Our jersey competition is still running- and we have set a closing date of October 1st, 2009.

Simply- you must send us a picture of you in your Devon Coast to Coast Challenge top, taken in the strangest place! For a flavor of the entrants so far, check out our page http://www.coast-coast.co.uk/Jersey%20Competition.html

Every entrant will be judged, and I am sure that we will find a prize for the best.

As always, we have some GREAT idea's for the 2010 event, to make it bigger and better than this years very successful ride.

But this is also where you come in. If there is anything which you would like to see next year- or even, taken out- then please let us know! Everything considered- as proven over the previous rides, we do listen!
