Cheque Presentation
We are lucky enough to have Toni Hamilton from the Children's Hospice South West joining us on Sunday 25th March at the Black Horse, Braunton (in behind St Brannocks Church) at 7pm. Here we will be having some pictures taken as we hand over the cheque for the 2006 ride- £3000!
Did you ride? Why not come along- and join in the pictures! have a pint, then you can join our forum afterwards, where we will talk about such things as what's coming at this year's ride! If you loved last year's ride, then here is your opportunity to influence this year's ride.
Come along- have a pint, have your picture taken, join in!
Email Addresses
Ah, computers, don't you just love them. Mine went (technical term) tits up August last year, and I lost all the email addresses of the riders last year. Can you help me get them back? If you know someone who rode, or wants to ride this year, you can do 2 things- firstly, press forward up above, and forward this on to them! Then, send me their email address so I can ensure they do not miss another edition! Simple!
Non Riders Wanted!
Yes, you heard right. We require up to 6 individuals- family, relatives, partners- who can help us out on the day. Task's will be easy and not onerous- things like packing up after the ride has set off, travelling to the half way point to set up there, and going on to the end to set the banners up there. Question is- do we have any volunteers? Ideally, we can have 2 for the start, 2 for the middle, and 2 for the end- it does not have to be the same people at each stage.
Can you help us? Please email me to let me know!
Testimonials
Have you rode any of the previous events? How was it for you? Hopefully, it was cool, and you want to ride this year's ride.
Well, here is you chance to tell us your story. In a new feature in the newsletter and the website, we want to publish your story- the fun you had, the pain, the rain and the sunburn... tell us your story! What are you doing differently for this years ride which you did not do last year? Which bit are you looking forward to this year? What fancy dress will you be wearing? Let us know! Simply press reply above in your email reader, and let me know!
The world deserves to know your story- now is your chance to tell it....
Other Stuff
- Can anyone confirm the rumour that Mark Henderson is riding this year- with a tag along bike on the back with Mike Paddon on it? Is it true?
- Error made on website- the Alpha group average speed is actually 10 mph, not 12mph as stated by me at various times I can not remember. Thank you for Slide Rule Sean for pointing this out- the pint's in the post.
- Coming soon- a great new logo for the ride- something which we can all use to let the world know about it! Keep your eyes peeled....
Hope to see you on the 25th- 7pm- Black Horse, Braunton- mines a Guinness!
If you have any comments, please click reply- and send me them.
