Welcome to the second
Newsletter for the 2007 ride! And have we got news for you!
This issue-
It's all kicking off!
The Logo
Well, what do you think? Our logo has been designed by those great people at Salad Design, and you will shortly be seeing it EVERYWHERE! It's our branding- hope you like it.
Transport
Sean the Transport Tsar has organised a coach back from Plymouth on the day. We will naturally be doing it at cost, so basically, it will be £365 divided by the number of people on board- it holds about 50, so should be as cheap as £7.30! It is already filling up quickly, so if you want to book your place, contact Sean at seanross@f2s.com to book your place.
The Arrival
Mark has worked his magic, and this year's finish will be at The Mayflower Sailing Club on Plymouth Barbican. We have it booked from 5pm, when the bar will open, with the Coach leaving at 7pm- two hours to share stories and drown our tired legs.
Swapping Groups
We have had a couple questions about the ride groupings- people are worried they may start in the wrong group.
Don't panic! Riders can swap groups at the break in Okehampton- if you start in the second group, and want to swap to the first, you will still have a 30 minute break. If you start in the first group, and want to swap to the second group at the break, you will have a 90 minute break.
The we all come together for the last 10 mile ride into Plymouth!
The Guest Book
Have you seen Jonny and Lucy? Check out the guest book to try and find them!
The Handover
![]() Here are Mike, Mark and Simon handing over a cheque for £3000 to Toni Hamilton from the Children's Hospice South West, from the 2006 event.
Well done to all that raised funds!
